Christmas Fun

I got a bright idea as I was getting ready for Christmas eve dinner with everyone coming over to the house...hmm....what shall we have for dessert? I decided to make gingerbread men and let the kids decorate them. They had a good time loading on the frosting and sprinkles! Here's James with his creation, and around the table are Jessica, Eli, Emily and Kim.

One of my other bright ideas was what to make for the grandkids for Christmas...I decided to make pillowcases with fabric of their favorite things. Here's the oldest grandson's, Daniel, Chris and Alan showing off theirs. I also made flannel drawstring jammie pants for the boys, and flannel night shirts for the girls.

Here's grandpa Scott getting ready to read "The Night Before Christmas" which is a Jordan tradition! Chad's son Logan is ready for the story, with Emily holding the jingle bells, ready to shake them when Dad gives the high sign.

So nice of you to have dad and Marge over for the big night. They had a wonderful time and enjoyed the Jordan clan. You have out done all of again with all of your sewing and craftiness (is that even a word?) You are an inspiration to us all!
