More Kauai

I decided to put a few more pictures in here of our trip to Kauai in February.... Here's the plane we took up to tour the interior of the island and the Napali Coast.



And check out this hilareous dude we saw at the same famer's market as the machete weilding granola girl. He was singing away with all of these Chihuahua's! Double click on this picture so you can see all of these little guys.

I had to put a picture in here of the granola girl. Barefoot, no bra, and not into shaving. She was very cute, but I wouldn't want to mess with her! Look at those muscles in her little arms! She has been hacking the tops off of coconuts for who knows how long. She's got it down to a science....for sure.

And check out these weird little red fruits we bought there. The name starts with an "R". Like Ramutan or something? We kept calling them "Rameumpton's" because we could remember that word. :-) When you slice open this little fuzzy fruit, the inside is like a giant peeled grape. Pretty yummy.
