I had a great time this weekend going to this fun event in Portland. A lot of the ladies in my ward came along too. It was great to hear some of the best LDS writers, speakers and musicians do their thing. Cherie Call and Kenneth Cope singing live was so cool! Guess who's mom that is standing behind me? Napoleon Dynamites'!!! Yep, his sister Rachel is in my ward and teaches Relief Society. She's on the far left of the picture. The other gal on my right is Amy Updike who is a little firecracker and is having a ball in the Young Women's program right now. In the other picture I'm showing off the neat bag they gave out to all the attendees. Tina Lyon is standing behind me. I have some great ladies in my ward. Maybe because I'm the Relief Society president, I just am IN LOVE with them all!

Can I tell you honestly how extremely jealous I am that you got to go to Time Out For Women? I cry as I read this, my heart feels so heavy knowing what I missed out on. There is such energy there, the spirit there is the best….. Remember the first time I ever went, or even heard of it was with you and we went to Seattle! It was a blast. Just last night Ashlee brought a “cool CD” over to listen to and told me it was Cherie Call, and I had to tell her I'd seen her in person...all because of you! Love ya Jan Jordan, thanks for being a spiritual giant for me in my life!
Hey Sister J!
Holli is going to steal your layout. Hope you don't mind. How are you doing?

Dear Jan,
Thank you for fixing the glitch so I can check in on you now and then! You and Dan look adorable and I hope we get another visit in soon! I'm determined to catch up to you in the grandkid department! #'s 10 and 11 are coming up this Feb and March! If I ever get good at this computer thing, I may even learn how to post pics, etc. Wouldn't that be something!!! Love you, Athena
Time Out for Women is amazing. Every woman in the church has to go at least once in their lifetime. You are doing so well on your blog. Very cute!
